Terms of Service

Welcome to Meatman. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of meatman.com, our mobile or web experiences (including the Meatman App), and related pages such as Tools, Recipes, and customer support (collectively, the “Services”). “Meatman,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Meatman, LLC, 411 Walnut Street #14116, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.

Important: These Terms include a binding arbitration provision and class action waiver (see Section 17). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2) Eligibility & Accounts

  • Age. You must be at least 18 to purchase products. By ordering, you represent you are of legal age and have capacity to contract.
  • Account Security. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Accuracy. Provide accurate, complete, and current information; update promptly if anything changes.

3) Orders, Pricing & Availability

  • Order Acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy; we may accept or reject any order at our discretion (including for suspected fraud, errors, or supply issues). We will refund any amounts charged for rejected orders.
  • Pricing & Availability. Product pricing and availability are subject to change at any time without notice. We may limit or cancel quantities per person, per household, or per order.
  • Errors. We attempt to be accurate, but errors may occur (pricing, product info, promotions). We may correct any errors and cancel or adjust orders; if you do not wish to proceed, we will refund you.
  • Taxes & Fees. You are responsible for applicable taxes, shipping, and fees shown at checkout.
  • Substitutions. For bundled or curated boxes, we may substitute items of equal or greater value if an item is unavailable. We strive to notify you in advance where practical.
  • Not for Resale. Products are for end consumers; commercial resale requires prior written consent.

4) Cold-Chain Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping Windows. We ship on select days to maintain cold chain. Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or events beyond our control.
  • Address Accuracy. You are responsible for providing a correct, deliverable address. We are not responsible for loss or spoilage due to incorrect addresses or failed delivery attempts.
  • Risk of Loss; Safe Drop. Title and risk of loss pass upon delivery to the address or carrier-confirmed drop-off (including “safe drop” at your doorstep). If you authorize no-signature delivery, you accept responsibility after carrier confirmation.
  • Frozen/Chilled on Arrival. Products may arrive frozen or partially thawed. If properly chilled on arrival, immediate refreezing is acceptable for quality and safety. See our Meat Safety & Storage Guide.
  • Dry Ice Safety. Shipments may include dry ice. Do not handle with bare hands; keep away from children and pets; allow dry ice to dissipate in a well-ventilated area; do not dispose in sinks, toilets, or confined spaces.
  • Inspection. Inspect items upon arrival. If there is a material issue, contact Customer Service within 24 hours with photos and your order number.
  • Force Majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (weather, disasters, labor issues, carrier failures, governmental actions, etc.).
  • U.S.-Only. We currently ship within the United States.

5) Quality Guarantee, Returns & Credits (Perishables)

  • Perishable Goods. Due to food safety, we do not accept returns of perishable items.
  • Our Commitment. If your order arrives damaged, warm to the touch, or materially different from what was described, contact us within 24 hours. We may offer a replacement, credit, or refund at our discretion. We may ask for photos and may require safe disposal rather than return.
  • Handling Responsibility. After delivery, you are responsible for timely refrigeration/freezing and safe handling.

6) Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

  • Build-Your-Own. You may subscribe to individual items or bundles at chosen intervals. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled.
  • Billing Authorization. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method until you cancel.
  • Changes & Price Updates. We may change prices or items in future shipments; we’ll notify you in advance where required. If you disagree, you can skip, pause, or cancel before the posted cutoff.
  • Cancel Anytime. Cancel in your account before the next billing date to avoid charges for the next cycle. Skips/pauses may be limited by inventory and cutoff times.

7) Meatman Gear (Non-Perishables)

  • Third-Party Fulfillment. Some gear (apparel, tools) ships from third-party providers and may arrive separately.
  • Returns. Non-perishable return eligibility, windows, and conditions are described on the product page or at FAQ. Customized items may be final sale.
  • Safety. Knives and sharp tools are for responsible adult use. Follow manufacturer instructions and local laws.

8) Site Content, IP, & Trademarks

  • Copyright. All content on the Services—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, videos, recipes, guides, calculators, and tools—is owned by Meatman or its licensors and protected by U.S. and international laws. Copyright © 1997–2025 The Meatman, LLC. All Rights Reserved.
  • Trademarks. MEATMAN® is a registered trademark of The Meatman, LLC. Eat Wild.™, MeatmanTV™, Meatman Club™, Meatman University™, and Meatman Pets™, together with other names, logos, and trade dress, are trademarks or trade dress of The Meatman, LLC. Use of our marks is prohibited without prior written permission.
  • License. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and make personal, non-commercial use of the Services. No rights to reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or use data mining/robots without our written consent.
  • Third-Party Marks. Third-party trademarks are the property of their respective owners and used for identification only.

9) User Content & Reviews

  • Your Responsibility. You are responsible for any content you submit (reviews, photos, comments). Do not post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content.
  • License to Meatman. By submitting content, you grant Meatman a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Services and our marketing channels, in any media now known or later developed, with your handle or first name as attribution where feasible.
  • Moderation. We may remove or refuse content at our discretion.
  • DMCA. For copyright concerns, email privacy@meatman.com (Subject: DMCA) or mail DMCA notices to: DMCA Agent, The Meatman, LLC, 411 Walnut Street #14116, Green Cove Springs, FL 32043. Include all elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512.

10) Communications & SMS Terms

  • Email & SMS. If you opt in, you consent to receive marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Transactional Messages. You may receive order, shipping, or account messages even if you opt out of marketing.

11) Food Safety, Allergens & Tools

  • Safe Handling. Follow USDA food safety guidance, including proper refrigeration/freezing, thawing, and cooking to safe internal temperatures.
  • Allergens & Cross-Contact. While we take care in sourcing and packing, products may be processed or packaged in facilities that also handle common allergens.
  • Information Only. Recipes, guides, temperatures, calculators, and tools are provided for informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional advice or your judgment in handling food safely.

12) California Proposition 65

WARNING: Cooking certain foods, including meats, can produce substances known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive harm. For more information, visit www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

13) Prohibited Uses

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by: violating laws; infringing IP; posting harmful content; attempting to gain unauthorized access; interfering with the site; using automated scraping or data extraction; or reselling or misrepresenting products.

14) Disclaimers

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THESE TERMS, THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

15) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MEATMAN AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE; OR COST OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO MEATMAN FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) AT ISSUE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in such cases, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

16) Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Meatman and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services or Products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

17) Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Waiver

  • Informal Resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to email us at privacy@meatman.com with a brief description and your contact information so we can try to resolve it within 30 days.
  • Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision.
  • Venue & Fees. Arbitration will take place in or near Jacksonville, Florida (or by video/teleconference as permitted by AAA rules). Each party pays its own fees unless the arbitrator awards otherwise under applicable law.
  • Class Action & Jury Trial Waiver. You and Meatman agree that each may bring claims only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. You waive the right to a jury trial.
  • Small Claims & IP Relief. Either party may seek relief in small claims court for qualifying disputes or seek injunctive relief for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

18) Miscellaneous

  • Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles, except that the FAA governs the arbitration provision.
  • Changes to Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
  • Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be modified to reflect the parties’ intent, or severed, and the remainder will remain in effect.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Entire Agreement. These Terms, along with any posted policies (e.g., Privacy Policy, Shipping, FAQ) constitute the entire agreement between you and Meatman.
  • Export & Sanctions. You agree to comply with U.S. export controls and sanctions and not use the Services where prohibited.
  • Headings. Headings are for convenience only.
